![]() Recent Projects. New Roof. (Completed) (March 07, 2007) This project is to strip off all existing roof coverings to main roof of terraced house.
We will be recovering the roof using new tanalised laths, breathable underlay felt and re-fitting existing Welsh Slate.

![]() Picture below is front elevation of main roof. We have now stripped off all existing coverings and started to re-fit existing Welsh slates on new timber laths and breathable underlay felt.
Below you can see the existing slates being re-fitted.
We feel that the existing slates on this project will out last any type of new slate which is on the market now.
Before having your roof renewed, always consider salvaging the existing slate. This will match with existing and less expensive.
A roofer would have sold the slates off this project to a reclaimation yard or to another builder. So Remember, if they good enough to sell on, they good enough to re-use!.
