Large Office Block Refurbishment, Newcastle Upon Tyne. (April 05, 2010)
Total Refurbishment of existing 1960s 2 storey office block within the Newcastle Upon Tyne Area.
Cooks Building & Maintenance Ltd is principle contractors on this development.
Contract Value £310,000.00

We have cleared away all existing overgrown vegitation from front elevation in preperation for window.
Side Elevation.
The removal of windows have commenced, here you can see the new windows being fitted.
Now security shutters are being fitted to the outside of the new windows.
We have now started to remove the windows from the rear elevation to prepare for new windows.
All windows and security shutters are completed to rear elevation of premises.
All windows and security shutters are now complete to all elevations of building.
Works have now commenced with the internal office refurbishments.
#This building has been empty for approximately 15 years
we are now stripping out full building back to brickwork shell

All existing walls, electrical and heating systems are now being stripped out.
Timber office partitions fitted with Safety laminated glass now devides the offices from the
corridors giving the building a modern look.
All electrical, data and phone lines have now been installed to the full 1st floor office and corridor areas.

Whilst the 1st floor is near completion, you can see the photographs below show works now being completed on the ground floor.
The pink walls are fire rated plasterboards which provides the correct level of fire rating for this development.
